Wristies fingerless gloves
"Wristies are the ideal way to keep my hands warm in cold or drafty situations, allowing me to perform at my peak. It's something EVERY musician should carry in their case."- Sharon Isbin, Grammy Winner, Director Guitar Department, The Juilliard School

Like athletes, musicians need to stay warm in order to perform at our best. Wristies are soft fingerless gloves that keep the muscles of the hands and wrists warm while allowing full freedom of motion. They are great for staying warm in cold or drafty situations, for outdoor performances, and for warming up any time you play. Benefits include faster warmup, better performance, longer playing without fatigue, and injury prevention. Order according to your usual glove size (two sizes fit most everyone).

Some packaging differences to notice when you receive your strings: Mari guitar strings are packed in 3 paper envelopes (2 strings per envelope) instead of 6 to save paper. The #300 Flamenco strings are not labeled by tension - the color of the label indicates the tension.

Customer Comments:

"... I also bought some of the wristies. What a great invention and I sew and knit – these are great because that polar fleece is quite warm and doesn’t snag on anything.". -Sandra, Albany, California, USA

"Piano, clavichord & harpsichord: Pass, hands nice and warm, fast ornaments play better.
Guitar: Pass, left hand slides nicely on neck, right hand warms up and fingerpicks better.
Oud: Pass, left hand works well on neck, right hand holds reesha (pick) well,
doesn't mute sound as much if I rest it on bridge (a bad habit).
Bass: Pass, like guitar, plus slapping works well, right hand can work fast, protected from edges.
Blockflute & Duduk: Pass, doesn't get in the way of fingering or holding instrument.
Computer: Pass, wrists feel supported, don't stick to laptop's wrist-rest." - Tony M., Oakland, California, USA
