"The Oscar Herrero Metronomo is an incredible little black box that will revolutionize your playing, You can move quicker through scores and tablature check and recheck your Falsetas and improve phrasing passages simply by being able to feel the compas and hear it and SEE IT. Being able to SEE the compas or clock move has changed my playing forever. After using the metronome for a while you can really recognise when your timing and others timing speeds up or slows down or shifts even slightly out of time when you're in a performance situation when you are without the metronome. My personal favourite thing about this metronome is that it doesnt stop like compas cd's do, so it stops when you're ready to stop playing and you switch it off. It plugs directly to your computer and runs off AA batteries so its portable, i sometimes sit in the park and play to break the monotony of sitting in front of computer screen. You can also manipulate the compass sounds with software provided and to top it off there is not only a standard buleria but a 3/4 Buleria and a 6/8 Buleria and every other form you can think of. "recently purchased the oscar herrero flamenco metronome. after awhile considering the outlay involved i thought this could prove to be the most valuable tool available so i went ahead. the unit itself is portable, fully programable and has all the palos. the sounds are fantastic and varied, good sampled audio. the software disc that came with the unit enables you to programme songs and patterns into your computer then send them to the portable unit. i can practice anywhere without using compass cd's etc. it functions as a metronome but also as a beat box/drum machine as breaks etc are easy to program. what initially seemed like an expensive item really turned into great value for money with all the hidden extra's. it is far superior to any other type of product out there as i had been using the graf-martinez compas for awhile. the synchronization is metronomic-ally correct unlike other available resources. ostrie music supplies are great to deal with, the order was shipped to australia within the week of purchase. i am also able to program other styles such as brazilian choro and samba as it has such a palette of sounds available. love this product."
